If you're planning to get away for a few days, or if your house is going to be full of guests over the holidays, bring your pet to Hearthstone Kennels. We have more than 29 years of experience in caring for pets, and we would love to play host to your favorite friend.
As much as you may love your little bundle of fur, it's not always possible to take him or her with you. No worries! Don't force your pet into the backseat for a long road trip, or leave him in the neighbor's garage -- let us shower him with love and attention, so that you'll come back from your holiday to a pet who is as relaxed as you are.
Hearthstone Kennels has been providing expert care and individual attention to our clients' pets since 1979. Our facility is located in the Merryall area of New Milford, on ten scenic acres. Your pet will relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the country. Our kennel is climate controlled. It is air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. Your pet will stay in a large and spacious indoor / outdoor kennel run. The kennels are cleaned daily, and more often as needed. We spend personal time socializing with your pet by walking them at least three times daily. There is someone with your pet 24 / 7 because the owner and operator reside on the premises.
We require vaccination records in writing from your veterinarian when your pet stays with us. We are open seven days a week and most holidays by appointment.
